General

1. The "Open van Brabant" will take place in the sports-hall of Zemst (Schoolstraat 13, 1980 Zemst) in Belgium.
2. The "Open van Brabant" is a recognized VJF Ranking Tournament for the U17
3. A Judoka of the U15 can participate in the U17 provided that she/he was a written permission of the parents. (Seen the level of the competition, we do not encourage this.) 
4. Games will take place according to the rules of the Flemish Judo Federation (VJF). 
5. Each participant must have 
   1. a valid license from the VJF or any other federation recognized by the EJU and IJF.
   2. a valid picture ID
   3. medical certificate (< 6 month old) when age > 40yrs.
   4. a minimum grade of 3Kyu

Enrollment

1. ONLY online via this website
2. The deadline for enrollment is September 10th 2011 at 23:59
3. The entry fee is 10 Euro for each judoka
4. Coaches & spectators 5 Euro entrance

Competition system

1. Only 2 judoka's in a weight class => best-of-3
2. Pools of 3,4 or 5 judoka's
3. 1st and 2nd of their pool will move on to an elimination system with or without repechage depending on the number of participants in that particular weight-class.
